A sleepy little beach town by day, San Juan del Sur comes alive in the evening. Surf, fish, or chill during the day; dance, eat, and party during the night. Who needs rest? Well, we did! but we still had a great time. Our hotel was right on the water. We did opt for one of the higher-end places, I needed cool AC and a convenient bathroom. The skies were as beautiful as the sea. Full of birds, impressive frigate birds, pelicans, and of course seagulls.
